DESIGN
How would you describe Dutch design? Innovative, minimalist, experimental, quirky? Just some of the terms used to describe Dutch design aesthetics. If you were to include functionality, usability and safety into the mix, you have the recipe for Macna’s design philosophy.
Macna’s R&D department and design team operate like a well-oiled machine, creating new ways to improve your ride, blending fashion with technology. It is well known across the industry that our designers barely use their office chairs. They do their best work from the seat of their bikes. Very regularly throughout the design process, computers are shut off and engines are started for some real-world testing. It leads to new insights and improvements, but admittedly, who doesn’t love a great excuse to get out for a good ride.
RACING IN MOTOGP
Macna is a major sponsor of a number of top-level international road racers battling for world championships on the MotoGP circuit including Carlos Tatay, Ayumu Sasaki, Jorge Navarro, Nicolo Bulega, Marcos Ramirez, Stefano Manzii, Bo Bendsneyder and Andrea Mantovani. Locally, up and coming Aussie road racing prodigy Oli Bayliss also has the complete backing of Macna, competing in the ASBK Australian Superbike Championship.
